Ginger has vast training in working with child sexual abuse and human trafficking victims and their families. She also has extensive knowledge in working with youth and adolescents through personal struggles and relationship issues. Having worked as a school counselor for Pre-K through 8th grade students, Ginger has experience collaborating with teachers and administrators to implement academic interventions and therapeutic strategies in a school setting. In addition, Ginger is passionate about facilitating growth in parent/child relationships, working with young adults who feel overwhelmed in transitioning to adulthood, and guiding couples who feel disconnected in their relationship. She also provides pre-marital counseling to those getting ready for the next chapter in their lives. In addition to individual and family counseling, Ginger is also a facilitator for the Teen 360 Sisterhood groups for teen girls.
Ginger believes the key to successful therapy is building a supportive, trusting relationship in a safe, non-judgmental place that allows individuals to freely talk about their worries and struggles. She is trained and experienced in using evidence-based treatments. Utilizing an integrative approach in therapy, Ginger tailors each session to the individual client by designing a unique and effective form of treatment.
